Part 8
Answers and reasoning
Part AChoose the layer
The preferred source-script name remains separate unless its bearer accepts a Phi onym. System capacity uses the Systems module word. The broken handle can be described compositionally. Dosage, legal wording, and a technical identifier remain source records, while Phi describes their roles. samira may follow ne if accepted. A translation is appropriate only when the task actually asks for meaning in Phi rather than preservation of source form.
Part BKeep the artifact separate
One valid pair is:
mia ha sirami theo.
1SG PROX record read.
mia ha remuma whakeru.
1SG PROX conclusion object.
The surrounding page preserves temperature: 38.7 C; neither Phi sentence attempts to spell it.
Part CTest a name
samira is a valid three-syllable productive onym, and saweriko is valid with four. sawerikona is invalid because it has five syllables, while mimimi repeats a syllable that has an onset. sorae and hasha are absent from the current lexicon, so their legal shapes are enough for ne to carry them as names without glosses. tha has a legal shape but remains unavailable because it is a current complementizer, not a content word.
Part DSeparate source, translation, and analysis
Answers vary. A complete answer labels all three acts, keeps the source unchanged, uses only Phi inside the Phi passage, and identifies at least one limit of the translation or analysis.
